Security information To help avoid delays, please prepare for security by reading the information on this page. • Both hand luggage and hold baggage will be checked, either by hand and/or by detection equipment. • To save time, we advise you to place only valuables and items you need for the flight into your hand baggage. Travelling with liquids The following restrictions apply to all liquids, creams, gels, pastes and aerosols taken through security control as hand baggage.
• Liquid items may only be carried in containers holding up to 100ml. - They must be carried separately in a single transparent plastic bag. - The bag must be no larger than 20cm x 20cm with a capacity not exceeding 1 litre. - All the individual containers must fit easily into the plastic bag. The bag must be completely closed. - Liquid items larger than 100ml should be packed in your hold luggage, otherwise they will be confiscated. • Exceptions to the 100ml rule - For baby food or milk, however, you should only carry what you need for the flight. - For medicines, however, you may be asked to provide evidence that you need them for your journey. • Transfer passengers within the European Union - Duty-free purchases in airport shops : If your first flight arrives from a country within the European Union and your second flight departs from a European airport (including Norway, Iceland and Switzerland) : You can make in-flight purchases or buy in airport shops. These purchases will be made secure in a sealed plastic bag and must remain so until the end of your trip. If your first flight arrives from a country outside the European Union and your second flight departs from a European airport (including Norway, Iceland and Switzerland) : Purchases made in airport shops outside the European Union will be confiscated at the security check during your transfer. - Onboard purchases : If you made an onboard purchase in an aircraft belonging to a European airline departing from an airport located outside the European Union, it will be accepted when you transfer into a European Union country, provided it is placed in a sealed bag accompanied by the proof of onboard purchase. • Airport shopping Anything you buy after security control can be taken on board the aircraft, including bottled drinks, fragrances and cosmetics in sizes over 100ml. If you are returning the same day, or catching a connecting flight after CDG, store staff will need to place your purchases in a special sealed bag. Prohibited items All forbidden items will be confiscated at security control. • For your safety, sharp or pointed items must not be carried in hand baggage. - Knives, razor blades, cutlery, tools, hiking poles, hypodermic needles (unless medical necessity), catapults, corkscrews, toy or replica guns, sporting bats or cues and darts. • The products below are subject to specific regulations (this list is non-exhaustive) : - Knives, razor blades, cutlery, tools, hiking poles, hypodermic needles (unless medical necessity), catapults, corkscrews, toy or replica guns, sporting bats or cues and darts. - Christmas crackers, party poppers, cigarette lighters and non-safety matches. - Camping stoves, gas bottles, diving bottles. - Paint, varnish, bleach, chlorine and detergent. - Toxic materials, infectious materials, radioactive materials. - Chemical products, fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, insecticides. - Flammable liquids such as fuel, thinner, solvent, acetone.
